Planning and Education
Preparing the UAV is critical in the pre-flight process. This includes choosing the correct UAV for the job, completing maintenance checks and chargin batteries.
Planning the flight route includes more than just grabbing a map. It is important to get govenrnment approval for flight, and to understand local terrain, culture and climate before you fly.
Once the plan is in place, its time to fly. There are different approaches to flying like manual control, GPS/Software control and First Person View (FPV) using virtual-reality type glasses.
The information collected needs to be transmitted back to a computers somewhere. This is often done through WI-FI, satelite or other wireless signals. The data is then processed and analyzed, either in real-time or for later use
